Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup wheat bran
  • 1 tbsp chia seed
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries
  • 2 small bananas
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil and add the oatmeal. Reduce heat so it doesn't boil over.
  • About 4 minutes in add the wheat bran and stir.
  • Turn off the heat and add the chia. Stir well.
  • Portion into two bowls. And split the remaining ingredients between those.
  • Optional: Add a dash of cinnamon to each.
